Job Description

As a highly skilled support engineer, you will be responsible for monitoring the performance of our infrastructure on a regular schedule. This includes CPU, memory, hard disk size, log size and other vital server parameters. If any performance issues are detected beyond thresholds, you will report them to the appropriate teams.

You will also be responsible for monitoring scheduled tasks on the system to ensure they have been successfully completed. If there are any failures in the tasks, you will rerun them. Additionally, you will report any technical errors to the L2/L3 teams for resolution.

Furthermore, you will monitor email, Teams channel and ticketing systems for new items/tickets and update them with an initial response. You will gather more details from business/end users or other teams if required and reproduce the issue in the testing environment to provide inputs to the L2 team member.

Finally, you will validate issue fixes in the internal testing environment based on customer inputs given (issue raised).

Required Skills & Qualifications
  • At least 3+ years of customer-facing experience is required.
  • Should have managed either application or infrastructure support at L1 level for at least 3 years.
  • SailPoint or IAM system support experience will be a significant plus.
  • Should have had experience in both oral and written responses to customers within defined SLA.
  • Must be experienced in handling customer-related queries on system functionality and provide required support.
  • Should have experience in doing customer issue-based validation.
  • Strong in written and verbal communication.
  • Technical background in Java/Scripting would be an added advantage.
