As a seasoned professional, you will oversee vessel operations and ensure the seamless execution of port activities. Your expertise in managing equipment control and operational procedures will be instrumental in achieving customer satisfaction and driving revenue optimization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and coordinate with principals, vendors, and external agencies to optimize capacity allocation and streamline operational processes.
  • Develop and implement effective operational procedures to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer experience.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with government bodies and regulatory agencies to ensure compliance and facilitate business growth.
  • Drive problem-solving initiatives to address operational challenges and identify opportunities for service innovation.

A Graduate/Post Graduate from a premier institute with 18-20 years of post-qualification experience in handling and effectively managing vessel operations is essential for this role. Master Mariners are preferred, and experience in handling Container/Bulk/Break Bulk/Project Cargo/Lifts on-Lifts off/RoRo operations is highly valued.

You must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage people and external agencies. Strong problem-solving abilities, analytical thinking, and decision-making skills are also required to drive operational excellence and achieve customer satisfaction.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of enforcing cost-effectiveness, customer satisfaction, problem-solving, compliance, claim prevention, operational safety standards, capacity management, team management, improving operational procedures, and systems and service innovation.

Additional responsibilities include monitoring and controlling all operations to ensure customer satisfaction, office administration, MIS, payables, receivables, and other related duties.
