Accounts Receivable Specialist Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our finance team. As a key member of the team, this individual will play a crucial role in ensuring timely and accurate collection of outstanding balances.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Invoice Generation: Generate and send invoices to customers in accordance with U.S. GAAP standards.
  • Account Monitoring: Monitor accounts to ensure timely collection of outstanding balances.
  • Discrepancy Resolution: Reconcile discrepancies, resolve billing issues, and communicate effectively with customers regarding payments.
  • Record Maintenance: Maintain accurate records of all A/R transactions.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, including the ability to gather and organize information. Proficiency in invoicing and accounting software is also essential. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal are required for effective customer communication.

  • U.S. GAAP Compliance: Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP standards and regulations.
  • Invoicing and Accounting Software: Proficient in invoicing and accounting software.
