Lead Accounts Receivable Process Specialist

The Accounts Receivable Process Lead plays a vital role in overseeing and executing the day-to-day operations of the accounts receivable process.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process customer invoices accurately and in a timely manner ensuring compliance with established procedures.
  • Effectively manage and apply cash to customer accounts, maintaining accurate records of account statuses.
  • Monitor accounts receivable aging reports, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions to mitigate overdue accounts.
  • Reconcile accounts receivable transactions, resolve discrepancies, and ensure data accuracy.
  • Assist in preparing and reviewing aging reports, collections reports, and key metrics for management analysis.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and customers to resolve billing issues and disputes, promoting effective communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Support the preparation of financial reports and assist in month-end closing activities related to receivables.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer payments and account statuses, ensuring data integrity and accessibility.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in accounts receivable/accounting, with a proven track record of success.
  • Strong accounting knowledge and procedures, including financial software proficiency, especially Excel.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and time management skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Effective communication, team collaboration, and customer service orientation skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
