About the Role:

As a Computer Science Faculty member, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the minds of future technologists. You will be responsible for teaching and guiding undergraduate/postgraduate students in Computer Science courses, ensuring they receive a world-class education that equips them with the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in their chosen field.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach and guide students in Computer Science courses, leveraging your expertise to create engaging and interactive learning experiences.
  • Develop and update curriculum and course materials to align with industry trends and academic standards, staying at the forefront of technological advancements.
  • Evaluate and grade student coursework, assignments, and examinations, providing constructive feedback to foster growth and improvement.
  • Conduct workshops, seminars, and guest lectures to enrich the learning environment, sharing your knowledge and experience with colleagues and students alike.
  • Engage in research and publish in peer-reviewed journals or conferences, contributing to the body of knowledge in Computer Science and establishing yourself as a subject matter expert.
  • Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development and departmental meetings, working together to drive innovation and excellence in teaching and research.
  • Stay updated with field developments and integrate new technologies and methodologies in teaching, ensuring students receive a comprehensive education that prepares them for success in a rapidly evolving tech landscape.

Qualifications:

  • A Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline is required.
  • Prior teaching or industry experience is highly desirable, demonstrating your ability to inspire and educate students.
  • You should possess strong knowledge of core subjects such as Data Structures & Algorithms, Operating Systems, Computer Networks, Database Management Systems, Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning / Data Science, and Programming Languages (Python, Java, C/C++, etc.).
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills are essential, enabling you to effectively engage with students, colleagues, and stakeholders.
