Director of Operations Job Description

This senior leadership position oversees the operational strategy and execution for the hotel, ensuring alignment with brand standards and goals.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Develop and implement departmental strategies to meet or exceed guest expectations and drive revenue growth.
    • Manage profit margins through effective cost control and optimize room occupancy and rate.
    • Lead a high-performing operations team by setting clear goals and expectations and fostering a culture of excellence in service delivery.
    • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify trends and areas for improvement.
    • Implement corrective actions and ensure seamless communication across departments to address guest concerns and complaints.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Education and Experience:
    • 2-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related field; 4 years experience in guest services, front desk, housekeeping, sales and marketing, management operations, or related professional area.
    • OR 4-year bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related field; 2 years experience in guest services, front desk, housekeeping, sales and marketing, management operations, or related professional area.
