Operations and Maintenance Head

We are seeking an experienced Operations and Maintenance Head to lead our organization's operational activities and maintenance functions.

This role demands strong leadership, technical knowledge, and negotiation skills to manage teams, vendors, and clients effectively. The ideal candidate will have expertise in cranes, hydra, boom lifts, crawler cranes, tyre-mounted cranes, and other heavy machinery, ensuring seamless operations, equipment efficiency, and minimal downtime.

  • Oversight of daily operational activities across all sites to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Management, scheduling, and monitoring of preventive and corrective maintenance of all equipment and machinery.
  • Ensuring the availability and proper functioning of cranes, hydra, boom lifts, crawler cranes, tyre-mounted cranes, and other heavy machinery.
  • Leading a team of operators, technicians, and support staff, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluation.
  • Development and implementation of standard operating procedures (SOPs) for operations and maintenance.

The successful candidate will be required to develop and implement processes that drive continuous improvement initiatives for operational efficiency and equipment reliability.

Key requirements include:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering / Industrial Engineering / Operations Management.
  • 7+ years of proven experience in operations and maintenance within the cranes and heavy machinery industry.
  • Strong technical knowledge of cranes, hydra, boom lifts, crawler cranes, and tyre-mounted equipment.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong vendor management, client interaction, and negotiation skills.
