About This Role

This senior role oversees the development and implementation of complex water treatment processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and performance targets. Key responsibilities include designing and planning system layouts, overseeing procurement and supplier engagement, and supervising installation and commissioning.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead engineering and design teams in developing water purification systems, incorporating input from headquarters and adhering to local conditions and regulatory standards.
  • Develop detailed system plans, process workflows, and technical specifications for high-quality execution and cost control.
  • Oversee procurement and supplier coordination, guaranteeing timely delivery and meeting performance targets.
  • Supervise installation, commissioning, and technical handover of systems to operations teams or clients, ensuring seamless integration and minimal downtime.
  • Take ownership of operations and maintenance strategies, developing standard operating procedures and troubleshooting guidelines for efficient system performance.
  • Collaborate across disciplines to integrate field learnings and continuously improve system performance, staying current on regulatory frameworks and relevant technological advancements.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Minimum 7 years of hands-on experience in engineering, designing, and delivering water or process systems at scale.
  • Strong background in process engineering, hydraulics, filtration, pumps, and automation, with a proven ability to plan, model, and optimize complex water treatment processes.
  • Demonstrated expertise in managing technical suppliers, fabrication partners, and field installation teams, with a focus on quality, cost control, and timely completion.
  • Highly detail-oriented with excellent project planning, documentation, and execution skills, as well as fluent communication in English (professional level) and proficiency in Hindi or other Indian languages.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Water Process Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related field.
