About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Software Development Professional to join our team as a Senior AI Engineer.

  • This is a contract position that requires immediate joining, offering flexible work arrangements including remote and on-site options in Hyderabad, INDIA.

Job Type: Contract and Immediate Joiners

As a Senior AI Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend services and APIs using Python/Fast API and frameworks like FastAPI, Flask. You will optimize database performance using SQL/NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis) and implement asynchronous programming for high-throughput applications using Kafka, RabbitMQ.

You will work with microservices architecture, containerization (Docker), and orchestration (Kubernetes) to ensure efficient and scalable systems. Additionally, you will implement CI/CD pipelines for continuous deployment and testing, collaborate with data engineers to process and optimize large-scale datasets, and develop and integrate machine learning pipelines where necessary.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using Python/Fast API and frameworks like FastAPI, Flask,
  • Optimize database performance using SQL/NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis)
  • Implement asynchronous programming for high-throughput applications using Kafka, RabbitMQ
  • Work with microservices architecture, containerization (Docker), and orchestration (Kubernetes)
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines for continuous deployment and testing
  • Collaborate with data engineers to process and optimize large-scale datasets
  • Develop and integrate machine learning pipelines where necessary
  • Write efficient, well-documented, and maintainable code following best practices
  • Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers
  • Ensure high system security, performance, and scalability
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in software development and 5+ in Python
  • 2+ yrs exp of Gen AI, Open AI, AWS bedrock, crew,ai, langchain, etc
  • Strong understanding of OOP, design patterns, and SOLID principles
  • Experience in building RESTful and GraphQL APIs
  • Expertise in SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Elasticsearch)
  • Knowledge of multi-threading, concurrency, and asynchronous programming
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and serverless computing
  • Experience working with DevOps tools, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization
  • Strong debugging and performance optimization skills
  • Proficiency in unit testing and test-driven development (TDD)
