Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to lead the development of industrial-grade AI systems that transform complex data into actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Design and implement multimodal retrieval architectures over diverse data sources, including PDFs, CAD/vector drawings, and regulations.
  2. Implement hybrid retrieval models with reranking; target high answerability and traceable citations.
  3. Build domain embeddings for technical terminology and craft routing/prompting strategies for audit-ready outputs.

In addition to these responsibilities, you will also work on:

  • Ingesting and normalizing heterogeneous sources, including ERP/MES exports, legacy databases, and IoT streams.
  • Developing scalable solutions for ingesting 10k+ document-type ingestion with schema validation, redaction, and temporal versioning.
  • Integrating external APIs, such as KOSHA, OSHA, and EPA, for finance modules.

You will also be responsible for:

  • Orchestrating ensemble decisioning with SLA < 10s; optimizing LLM flows for cost-effectiveness.
  • Operating on cloud platforms, including AWS EKS, Postgres, Pinecone, and Temporal/Argo; implementing CI/CD pipelines with test and eval gates.
  • Building explanation layers, including attribution and chain-of-evidence, and human-in-the-loop feedback.

If you have experience in vision and document AI, you may also contribute to:

  • Table/figure/annotation extraction, symbol detection, and PDF vector parsing.
Requirements
  1. 7+ years building production AI/ML or search systems; 3+ enterprise deployments end-to-end.
  2. Expertise in Python 3.11+, SQL, and strong systems thinking and data modeling.
  3. RAG at scale: vector DBs, BM25, rerankers, prompt/routing strategies, and evals.
  4. MLOps/SRE: versioning, canaries/A-B testing, drift detection, observability, and cost/performance trade-offs.
  5. Clear communication and ability to turn messy data into reliable software.
