As Frontend Team Lead, you'll own the architecture, performance, and delivery of the HawkVision AI dashboard—building world-class user experiences for real-time AI systems.

This is not a role for average performers—it's for technical leaders who want to build category-leading products, mentor elite engineers, and create solutions with global impact.

What You'll Do

Lead the development of HawkVision's core web dashboard (React/Next.js)

Architect and maintain scalable, performant UI components and state management

Design and optimise UIs for real-time video streams and complex data visualisations

Own CI/CD, containerisation, and hosting for the frontend (Docker, GitHub Actions, Azure/AWS)

Review code, mentor engineers, and ensure delivery of high-quality, on-time releases

Collaborate with backend, AI, product, and design teams on feature delivery

Implement performance monitoring, logging, and proactive optimisation

What We're Looking For

6+ years of frontend development experience, including team leadership

Deep expertise in JavaScript, TypeScript, React, and Next.js

Strong state management skills (Redux, Zustand) and client-side caching (React Query)

Mastery of utility-first CSS (Tailwind) or CSS-in-JS and responsive design

Proven architectural leadership and ability to influence technical direction

Web performance optimisation (code splitting, lazy loading) and bundler config (Vite/Webpack)

Proficiency with testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library) and E2E testing (Cypress/Playwright)

Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) and cross-browser compatibility

Bonus Skills

Built UIs for real-time video or media pipelines at scale

Experience with charting libraries (D3, Recharts) for complex data visualisation

Designed or maintained a component library or design system

Performance tuning for SSR/SSG in Next.js

Experience collaborating via Figma, Sketch
