About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled professional to oversee procurement operations for Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs) on behalf of our client.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diligently identify, evaluate, and qualify API suppliers globally in alignment with client requirements.
  • Negotiate terms and supply agreements with vendors to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality.
  • Manage end-to-end procurement processes, including purchase orders and supply contracts.
  • Maintain close monitoring of supplier performance, compliance, and adherence to quality, delivery, and regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth operations.
  • Keep track of market trends, supply risks, and alternative sourcing options to maintain a reliable supply base.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Supply Chain, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in API sourcing, procurement, or supplier management within the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
  • Familiarity with global regulatory requirements for API sourcing.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
