Job Description:

A KST Associate is a vital team member who works closely with other staff members to deliver exceptional customer service.

The role involves performing various tasks to maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of designated areas within the kitchen and outlet.

  • Maintain high standards of customer service, ensuring that every guest feels valued and cared for.
  • Develop a positive attitude and take initiative to resolve issues as they arise, communicating clearly with colleagues and customers.
  • Clean and empty garbage bins in kitchens, stewarding areas, and corridors, replacing them as needed, and rinse them out using a micro-gun.
  • Keep the storeroom organized and tidy at all times.
  • Clean and polish silver, copper, and stainless steel items, returning them to their designated storage spaces.
  • Maintain the polishing machine and deoxidizing bath in excellent working condition.
  • Report any damaged or missing items to your supervisor promptly.
  • Clean your work area thoroughly before the end of each shift.
  • Participate in training sessions to develop new skills and learn additional responsibilities assigned by your supervisor.
  • Operate the automatic dishwashing machine efficiently.
  • Ensure all washed items are stored properly, clean the dishwashing machine regularly, clear tables and sinks, and provide restaurants with sufficient dishes.
  • Clean floors and tiles in kitchens, corridors, and stewarding areas.
  • Complete the FSMS checklist before service commences.
  • Perform all duties and responsibilities safely and responsibly, prioritizing your own safety and the well-being of others in the workplace.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
  • Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks and stand for long periods.
  • Basic knowledge of cleaning products and equipment.
