Lead Finance

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our financial strategy, fundraising, and operational scale-up. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring we have the resources, systems, and processes in place to grow sustainably from Day 1.
- Financial Strategy:
- Develop and manage financial models (unit economics, CAC/LTV, marketplace liquidity) to inform key business decisions.
- Lead fundraising efforts: prepare investor materials, pitch decks, and manage financial modeling and investor relations.
- Establish robust financial systems: accounting, compliance, reporting, unit economics, CAC/LTV analysis.
- Marketplace Operations:
- Design and execute a marketplace operations playbook to drive growth and efficiency.
- Create operational processes for venue partnerships, equipment rentals, and event logistics.
- Balance marketplace liquidity: ensuring enough hosts and events meet attendee demand.
- Scaling & Partnerships:
- Manage legal and compliance frameworks: contracts, NDAs, corporate structure, MCA compliance.
- Forge partnerships with venues, service providers, and student organizations.
- Hire and manage community managers and operational staff as we grow.
Requirements:
- Strong background in finance, consulting, or startup operations.
- Prior experience in marketplaces or consumer platforms is beneficial.
- Ability to manage logistics, partnerships, and customer support.
- Strategic thinker who can also execute early-stage initiatives.
- Passion for building communities and scaling people-first businesses.
