Finance Professional Lead

We are seeking an experienced financial professional to lead our day-to-day finance operations.
- Main Responsibilities:
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records, accounts, and reports.
- Create and manage monthly financial reports, including income statements, cash flow, and budget vs. actuals.
- Maintain up-to-date bookkeeping, compliance, and documentation aligned with statutory regulations.
- Lead and mentor a small finance team, ensuring deliverables are accurate, timely, and aligned with organizational needs.
- Support leadership with financial reporting, analysis, and insights to aid decision-making and investor communications.
- Track and report financial and operational KPIs, ensuring visibility across functions.
- Partner with cross-functional teams (procurement, quality assurance, logistics, warehousing, tech) to align financial processes with business goals.
- Manage statutory compliance in India and support UK compliance in collaboration with external advisors.
- Assist in preparing investor reports, forecasts, and financial models to support fundraising and growth planning.
- Work on process improvements in bookkeeping, financial reporting, compliance, and financial planning to ensure scalability.
Requirements:
- 5-7 years of experience in financial management, accounting, or auditing, ideally within a fast-growing or dynamic environment.
- Strong collaborator, with the ability to work closely with key stakeholders across various departments.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, essential for presenting complex financial information.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and commitment to maintaining the integrity of financial records and reports.
