Job Description:

  • As a Central Finance specialist, you will design and implement financial solutions for integrating data from various systems.
  • Responsibilities include managing change requests with business stakeholders and partners in an efficient manner.
  • Partner with Application lead and business leaders to deliver value to the organization.
  • Able to work independently on finance projects including SAP ECC, CFIN, and FSCM.
  • Must have experience with Middleware like Agora and BODS.
  • Expert level understanding of all Finance processes including period-end activities.
  • Experience working in the Process industry.
  • Ability to create comprehensive functional specifications and knowledge of Project Life cycle.
  • Hands-on experience implementing end-to-end projects.
  • Able to configure and customize Central Finance submodules including Accounts Payable.

Requirements:

  • 8-10 years of relevant experience.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Capacity to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Skills:

  • Advanced understanding of Finance processes.
  • Working experience with Middleware technologies.
  • Practical experience in the Process industry.

Preferred Skills:

  • Proficiency in creating comprehensive functional specifications.
  • Knowledge of Project Life cycle methodologies.
  • Ability to configure and customize Central Finance modules.

Business Processes Expertise:

  • Source To Pay (STP), Procure-to-Pay (P2P) and Order-to-Cash (R2R)
  • Integrate Financial Accounting with other SAP modules such as Controlling & Materials Management, Sales & Distribution

Technical / Functional Skills:

  • SAP FI-GL General Ledger
  • SAP FI-AA Asset Accounting
  • Good understanding of Interface technologies

Certifications:

  • SAP cFIN Certification
  • S/4 HANA for Financial Accounting
