Job Overview

The role entails responsible ownership of servicing orders for regional sales teams, validating demand projections, and ensuring timely resolution of issues.

  • Validate demand by verifying POs available, LCs required, regulatory clearances, artwork details, SKU codes, IL check, Mfg license check, min shelf-life requirement, pre-shipment documents submission to customers & timelines, regulatory confirmation, and any customer-specific requirements.
  • Analyze order status in systems, gather information on scheduling, material receipt, dispatch schedule, and highlight potential issues that may affect defined timelines.
  • Take end-to-end ownership of assigned orders for the region, drive documentation related to shipments with CFT teams, and mitigate risks/delays proactively to avoid demurrage/penalties on shipments.
  • Attend relevant meetings to obtain data and information on open orders for the region and their status updates, identify issues requiring resolution/exemption by sales teams, and arrange cross-functional meetings to resolve bottlenecks related to priority orders.
Supply Chain Technology and Automation

The candidate will identify opportunities for implementing IT and automation in Order Management processes, enhancing Supply Chain visibility, and drive the implementation and rollout cycle for all IT and technology automations within SCM jointly with IT.

Key Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess advanced expertise in Microsoft Excel and reporting (VBA macros, Power BI), a good understanding of supply chain essentials, preferably in the pharma industry, and ability to identify areas for improvement and propose innovative solutions.
