Supply Chain Manager Job Description

A Supply Chain Manager is responsible for overseeing the flow of goods, services, and information from raw materials to end customers. This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and leadership abilities.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement supply chain strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs
  • Manage relationships with suppliers and customers to ensure timely delivery and high-quality products
  • Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement in the supply chain
  • Lead cross-functional teams to develop and implement process improvements
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement business cases for supply chain initiatives

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field
  • 8+ years of experience in supply chain management or a related field
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful supply chain strategies
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities
