Supply Chain Planning Manager

As a Supply Chain Planning Manager, you will be responsible for driving distribution planning and execution to ensure timely delivery across 20 branch warehouses. This is an exciting opportunity to join a world-leading manufacturer and retailer of luggage, backpacks, and handbags.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Distribution Planning & Execution
    • Lead the distribution plan from Mother Warehouse to Branch Warehouses, ensuring efficient supply chain management and timely delivery.
  • Product Availability & Planning Frameworks
    • Own product availability for billing across all channels, using data-driven insights to optimize inventory levels and reduce stockouts.
  • Inventory Management & Policy
    • Define inventory holding policies based on network lead times, SKU classification, and channel priorities, ensuring that inventory is optimized to meet customer demand.
  • Optimization of Dispatch & Stock Flow
    • Optimize dispatch plans considering FTL loads, promotional priorities, seasonality, and inter-branch transfer reduction, to minimize costs and maximize efficiency.
  • Replenishment & Fill Rates
  1. Establish replenishment mechanisms across all inventory nodes, using real-time data to inform inventory decisions and minimize stockouts.
Slow-Moving & Obsolete Inventory Management
  • Identify slow-moving / obsolete stocks and design mitigation plans to minimize waste and maximize profitability.
Stakeholder Management & Warehouse & Logistics Coordination
  • Manage demand-supply balancing for institutional channels and MTO orders, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred.
  • 2+ years in Supply Chain Planning/Distribution Planning.
  • Preferred industry - Consumer Products/FMCG.
