About the Role

This role is part of a day-to-day production release team and may involve on-call support functions as needed.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Taking part in Agile ceremonies to ensure effective project management.
  • Performing engineering assignments using existing procedures and best practices to drive quality and efficiency.
  • Conducting research to aid in product troubleshooting and optimization efforts, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality solutions.
  • Working closely with global teams to develop and implement technical solutions that meet business needs.
  • Providing an escalation point and participating in on-call support rotations to ensure seamless operations.
  • Actively monitoring key metrics and reporting on trends to inform business decisions.
  • Participating in our Engineering Community of Practice to share knowledge and best practices.
  • Contributing to engineering automation, management or development of production level systems to improve efficiency and scalability.
Requirements:
  • A completed Bachelor's degree or diploma (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Software Engineering or Software Architecture preferred.
  • 7 – 8 years of engineering experience, with expertise in Cloud/IT technology space.
  • Ability to learn quickly with new emerging technologies, methodologies, and solutions.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD principals and best practices.
  • Strong SQL skills, with RDBMS, Snowflake preferable – 7+ Years.
  • ETL experience, Python programming, experience building data pipelines – 4+ Years.
  • AWS knowledge or any cloud platform like GCP or Azure – 4+ Years.
  • Good knowledge and working experience in Agile methodology and familiar with tools like Jira and Confluence.
  • Orchestrating and monitoring complex data workflows with Apache Airflow, ensuring reliability, scalability, and timely delivery of pipelines.
  • Developing and optimizing Stored Procedures to enhance database performance, maintainability, and business logic execution.
