Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Portfolio and Project Management Specialist to implement, configure, and operationalize project portfolio management and project controls supporting programs.

The consultant will lead process configuration, cost control, forecasting, integration with upstream systems, and build standardized reporting analytics.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Configure project portfolios, projects, contracts modules, design cost classes, coding structures, WBS, timesheet budget forecasting workflows, change controls, and governance templates.
  • Establish baselines, progress capture, EVM calculations, variance analysis dashboards, implement standardized monthly cycle forecast accruals KPIs.
  • Orchestrate integrations between project management tools and ERP, eg SAP, CRM, schedulers, Primavera P6MS Project, and EDW Snowflake IICS to enable single source reporting.
  • Build portfolio and project dashboards, KPI, cost schedule performance funding vs actuals leveraging reports align to reporting cadences.
  • Translate governance into project management processes gates approvals auditability author SOPs Runbooks and conduct user training.
  • Engage program leads, finance controllers, PMs, data teams manage change requests and cutovers aligned to deliverables.

Requirements:
  • 6 - 10 years in Portfolio and Project Management, 3 years hands on project management tool configuration and admin.
  • Strong cost management, budgeting, forecasting, and EVM knowledge, monthly close processes.
  • Proven integration experience with SAP, SFDC, EDW, Snowflake, IICS or similar ETL ability to define source to project management tool mappings.
  • Reporting skills, native plus Power BI Tableau for enterprise distribution.
  • Solid SQL data modelling fundamentals, Agile delivery Scrum SAFe.
