Project Leader Job

The primary role of a project leader is to oversee projects from inception through completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to high-quality standards.

Main Responsibilities
  • Planning & Execution
    • Create detailed project plans with milestones and timelines.
    • Develop cost estimates, BOQs, and project budgets.
    • Coordinate procurement of necessary materials and resources.
  • Client Relations & Coordination
    • Establish strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
    • Act as the primary point of contact for clients and consultants throughout the project.
    • Provide technical input during client meetings and negotiations.
  • Schedule Management & Quality Control
    • Monitor production progress at factory and ensure quality control.
    • Validate drawings for constructability and practical execution.
    • Ensure timely release of 'Good for Construction' drawings.
  • Crisis Resolution & Issue Tracking
    • Identify and resolve on-site issues promptly to avoid delays.
    • Manage subcontractors, labor, and equipment deployment effectively.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex problems.
  • Project Completion & Closure
    • Monitor snag lists and ensure rectifications before handover.
    • Prepare final documentation including as-built drawings, quality reports, and completion certificates.
    • Conduct client walkthroughs and obtain approvals.
    Qualifications
    • B.E./B.Tech in Civil / Mechanical Engineering or related field.
    • 7-12 years of experience in project management (preferably PEB / Industrial / Infrastructure sector).
    • Key Skills:
    • Project planning, estimation, design review, and production planning.
    • Site execution of civil & steel/PEB projects, leadership, team management, communication, and time management skills.
    • Proficiency in MS Project/Primavera, AutoCAD, and MS Office.
    • Frequent travel to project sites required.
