Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate and timely payroll processing for all employees.
  • Oversee payroll records and employee data in HR/payroll systems.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, tax regulations, and internal policies.
  • Coordinate with HR on employee onboarding/offboarding, promotions, and other payroll-impacting changes.
  • Manage payroll deductions, benefits, garnishments, bonuses, and other compensation-related components.
  • Prepare payroll reports for internal use and external audits.
  • Respond to employee inquiries related to payroll, taxes, and earnings.
  • Collaborate with Finance to reconcile payroll-related accounts.
  • Support year-end activities such as tax form distribution (e.g. W-2).
  • Stay current with changes in payroll laws and regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of payroll processing experience.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll software and HRIS systems (e.g. ADP, SAP, Workday).
  • Familiarity with local labor laws and payroll compliance regulations.
  • High attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Effective communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Confidentiality and integrity when handling sensitive information.
