A key role in our network security team is available for a talented Network Security Engineer to join our Pune Deployment Team, responsible for the deployment and planning of the Bank's network infrastructure globally.

The team is accountable for delivering and deploying network/security projects and requests to enhance the client's infrastructure and meet current and future business demands.

Key skills required

  • Cisco Routing & Switching expertise
  • Strong CCNA or CCNP certification or equivalent experience
  • Fortinet Firewalls knowledge
  • Firewall Migration experience, FortiAnalyzer, FortiConverter, FortiManager
  • Ability to handle multiple projects concurrently
  • An organized individual with attention to detail
  • Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines
  • Analyzing and understanding network topologies
  • Coordinating multiple projects, change management, and governance efficiently working independently and as part of a team
  • Good networking principles knowledge
  • Excellent documentation skills using MS Office suite and Visio
  • Good customer-facing skills with ability to keep customers informed and understand their requirements

Desired skills (not essential)

  • Cisco ACI experience
  • Fortinet NSE4 Certification or above
  • EVPN experience
  • Checkpoint certification or equivalent experience
  • Fortinet certification or equivalent experience
  • Load Balancing Experience (F5)

This role involves various functions including:

  • Planning, managing, and deploying technology changes to support DC services
  • Deploying LAN infrastructure to support end-user services requirements
  • Patching schedules for facilities to cable network equipment
  • Drawing diagrams for Network Operations
  • Inventory management

We require candidates who can create detailed implementation plans for RFCs, document pre and post checks, understand and document back-out plans, and identify points of no return.

  • Supporting the stability and uptime of essential services by planning changes with a documented best approach mindset
  • Identifying where changes can be completed with zero downtime to hosted services
  • Planning and implementing changes with a cost-effective resource strategy
  • Identifying, understanding, and documenting change risks and mitigation tactics
  • Documenting network estate for Operation Support and change planning
