Senior Network Engineer Position

This role involves managing, maintaining, and troubleshooting our network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and security.

  • Key Responsibilities Include:
  1. Monitoring and configuring network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
  2. Troubleshooting and resolving network issues promptly to minimize downtime and ensure reliable network performance.
  3. Performing regular network performance monitoring and optimization tasks.
  4. Deploying network services in accordance with organizational requirements.
  5. Implementing and managing network security measures.
  6. Providing technical support to end-users for network-related issues.
  7. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date network documentation.
  8. Preparing and presenting reports on network performance and incidents.
  9. Collaborating with senior network administrators and IT staff to ensure smooth network operations.
  10. Participating in and leading network-related projects.
  11. Coordinating with vendors and service providers to resolve complex network issues.
  12. Conducting regular network security audits and vulnerability assessments.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • 7-15 years of experience in network administration or a related IT field.
  • Strong knowledge of networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and routing protocols.
  • Proficiency with network hardware and operating systems.
  • Experience with network security principles and best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work well both independently and in a team environment.
