Job Description

The Technical Specialist will be responsible for delivering high-quality technical services to clients, ensuring that their infrastructure is configured, installed, tested, and operational. This includes performing necessary checks, applying monitoring tools, and responding to alerts.

  • Identify problems and errors prior to or when they occur and log all such incidents in a timely manner with the required level of detail.
  • Assist in analyzing, assigning, and escalating support calls.
  • Investigate third-line support calls assigned and identify the root cause of incidents and problems.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in IT/Computing (or demonstrated equivalent work experience).
  • Certifications relevant to the services provided, such as CCNP, CCIE, CISSP, VMware Certified Professional: Data Centre Virtualization, and AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate.
  • Seasoned experience handling complex cross-technology infrastructure.
  • Working knowledge of ITIL processes.
  • Experience working with vendors and/or 3rd parties.
