
Executive Regional Manager

- Drive sales performance by achieving targets (primary & secondary) and market share for the assigned region.
- Ensure consistent year-over-year revenue growth in volume, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
- Regularly monitor key performance indicators and sales metrics, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
- Lead and manage a team of area sales managers, territory sales officers/executives, or business development managers.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, field visits, and training sessions to foster high-performing teams.
- Drive a culture of accountability, ownership, and excellence within the team.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities, including dealer/distributor appointments and retail/channel expansion.
- Develop region-specific strategies based on market dynamics and consumer behavior, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to execute region-specific promotions and launches.
- Manage distributor health, ROI, claim settlements, and stock hygiene to ensure smooth operations.
- Optimize supply chain and logistics coordination within the region, improving efficiency and reducing costs.
- Address and resolve distributor or trade issues promptly to maintain strong relationships.
- Build strong, long-term relationships with key customers, influencers, and institutional clients.
- Ensure exceptional customer satisfaction, complaint resolution, and service quality through ongoing engagement and loyalty initiatives.
- Conduct trade meets, engagement programs, and loyalty activities to build brand loyalty and drive sales growth.
- Provide timely and accurate reports on sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities to inform strategic decisions.
- Analyze sales data, identifying gaps and designing corrective action plans to drive improvement.
- Present regional performance in review meetings with senior management, highlighting achievements and areas for growth.
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Commerce, or a related field.
- 8-12+ years of experience in sales/operations, with at least 3-5 years in a team-leading or regional role.
Desirable Qualifications:
- MBA/PGDM in Sales, Marketing, or Business Management.
- Prior experience in the same industry or region is preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, CRM, or ERP tools to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
