A senior executive is needed to lead and grow the business in India.
About This Role- This leadership opportunity involves overseeing strategic initiatives, managing a team of direct reports, and driving business growth through value-based selling.
- The successful candidate will have experience leading cross-functional teams and navigating global markets.
This role requires strong business acumen, excellent communication skills, and the ability to balance strategy with execution.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead strategic and operational initiatives in India, focusing on commercial, technical, and support functions.
- Develop and implement business growth strategies, emphasizing the company's technical strength and global capabilities.
- Maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders, particularly those in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities across oncology, injectables, and other high-value segments.
- Act as a bridge between Indian operations and global business development teams.
- Travel frequently for business development, client meetings, and international collaboration.
- 10–15 years of leadership experience in the API/pharmaceutical industry, including at least 5 years in a senior commercial or general management role.
- Proven success in managing and growing international client relationships.
- Strong knowledge of the API development and manufacturing lifecycle, particularly in oncology and injectables.
- Excellent business acumen with strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to travel up to 60%, both within India and internationally.
- Demonstrated leadership experience with direct reports and cross-functional teams.
