Key Role Overview

The Solar Installation Coordinator is a pivotal position that oversees, coordinates and ensures timely and quality execution of solar installations at the project site. The primary focus lies in upholding design specifications, adhering to stringent safety standards, and meeting project timelines.

Principal Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily installation activities of solar PV systems, ensuring adherence to technical drawings and quality benchmarks.
  • Cultivate effective collaboration with vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams to drive project success.
  • Track project progress meticulously and guarantee timely material delivery.
  • Enforce strict compliance with safety regulations and conduct regular toolbox talks.
  • Ensure proper earthing, module mounting, cabling, and inverter installations.
  • Assist with troubleshooting on-site technical issues and provide timely resolutions.
  • Conduct initial system testing and commissioning procedures.
  • Maintain comprehensive daily work progress reports.
  • Regularly update the Project Manager on project updates and any emerging issues.
Essential Skills:
  • A thorough understanding of solar PV systems, inverters, and balance of system (BoS) components.
  • Familiarity with project management tools like AutoCAD, MS Project or Primavera.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, problem-solving and time management abilities.
