Mining Sector Business Development Specialist

We're recruiting a Sector Sales Specialist – Mining to expand our presence in the Indian market. This role involves business development and growth of the Mining sector across India, focusing on current accounts and new target markets. The ideal candidate will identify and drive customer value propositions based on Aggreko's product and application expertise.

Key Responsibilities:
- Engage in sales activities, both remotely and in-person, to new and existing customers.
- Utilize cross-selling, upselling, and repeat sales strategies to enhance relationships and boost energy solution sales.
- Identify and assess potential sales opportunities, crafting medium to long-term sales plans to enhance relationships and boost energy solution sales.
- Drive revenue growth through proactive sales efforts and effective relationship management.
- Develop sales proposals, conduct product demonstrations, and manage customer details in the CRM system to ensure efficient sales operations.
- Expand and maintain the customer network through regular sales calls, assessing customer needs, and recommending appropriate solutions.
Requirements:
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience in the field.
- Understanding of Mining sector technical fundamentals and organizational processes.
- Experience in managing and expanding territories, indicating strategic planning and execution abilities.
- General knowledge of power generators, diesel engines, HVAC / Temperature Control equipment, contributing to informed sales discussions.
- Proficiency in CRM systems like Salesforce, enabling efficient customer relationship management and sales tracking.
- Financial and commercial awareness to ensure a focus on profitable growth.
