Job Title: Head of Retail Expansion and Operations

We are seeking a seasoned retail professional to lead our expansion efforts and drive the performance of our retail business.

  1. Job Description:

The ideal candidate will have expertise in franchise management, property acquisition, and team leadership. They will be responsible for driving revenue growth, cost optimization, and profitability.

A fast-growing women's ethnic and fusion wear brand with 15–20 exclusive stores across India and a strong online presence. Positioned in the affordable premium segment, it caters to millennial and Gen Z consumers with trendy, everyday ethnic-fusion styles.

  1. Main Responsibilities:
  • Lead franchise operations and ensure alignment with brand standards
  • Identify and evaluate potential properties/locations for new stores
  • Negotiate and finalize property lease agreements and franchise contracts
  • Oversee day-to-day retail operations across all stores
  • Implement operational policies, SOPs, and compliance standards
  • Monitor store performance, sales, and profitability
  • Drive training and development programs to enhance performance
  • Foster a customer-centric culture across retail outlets
  1. Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or related field
  • 8+ years of experience in retail operations, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
  • Strong background in franchise management and property acquisition
  • Proven ability in team handling, business expansion, and operational excellence
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and decision-making skills
  1. Preferred Skills:
  • Expertise in franchise and company-owned retail models
  • Strong understanding of retail market trends and customer behavior
  • Ability to drive multi-location operations with efficiency
