Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Professional to join our team. This is a key role that will play a vital part in supporting the HR strategy for the unit.

Key Responsibilities

  • Statutory compliance and industrial relations, union management, recruitment, employee relations, learning and development
  • Executing HR strategies and implementing performance review procedures quarterly/annually
  • Developing fair HR policies and ensuring employees understand and comply with them
  • Implementing effective sourcing, screening, and interviewing techniques
  • Coordinating training needs and learning initiatives for all employees
  • Acting as a point of contact regarding labor legislation issues
  • Managing employee grievances and creating referral bonus programs
  • Reviewing current HR technology and recommending more effective software
  • Measuring employee retention and turnover rates
  • Oversight of daily operations of the HR department
