
Event Operations Director

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Operations Leader to oversee the planning and delivery of high-quality events and corporate programs in Delhi.
The ideal candidate will have experience managing end-to-end operations, leading a team, and collaborating with cross-functional departments to achieve business goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage logistics, vendor coordination, budgeting, and team management for MICE events.
- Lead the operations team, providing guidance, motivation, and performance management.
- Collaborate closely with sales, marketing, and client relations to align operational execution with business objectives.
- Negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers, venues, and service providers to secure competitive rates and quality services.
- Conduct site inspections, assess venues, and ensure all event requirements are met.
- Monitor and evaluate operational efficiency, implement process improvements, and drive cost optimization.
- Oversee compliance with safety, legal, and quality standards during event execution.
- Handle risk management and contingency planning for seamless event delivery.
- Prepare operational reports and MIS for senior management and clients.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and suppliers.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 7-10 years in event operations or related roles, with 3+ years in MICE operations leadership.
- Strong knowledge of the MICE industry, event management best practices, and vendor management.
- Proven leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office, event management software, and reporting tools.
