Job Description

The ideal candidate will possess a unique blend of technical skills, industry experience, and exceptional interpersonal abilities. You will be responsible for providing top-notch support, guidance, and feedback to learners, ensuring they receive the best possible educational experience.

Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and respond to student inquiries in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Utilize industry knowledge to provide insightful guidance and mentorship to learners.
  • Deliver prompt and actionable feedback that fosters problem-solving skills and critical thinking.
  • Collaborate with learners at various stages of their academic journey, from beginners to seasoned professionals.
  • Suggest course improvements to enhance content clarity, accuracy, and overall quality.
  • Cultivate a collaborative environment by working closely with the Emeritus team to resolve unexpected course challenges.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 5+ years of extensive work experience in data engineering, data science, or data analytics.
  • Professional or academic experience in machine learning and artificial intelligence is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, and GitHub is essential.
  • Experience using data visualization tools like Tableau and Microsoft Azure is preferred.
  • Advanced academic background in mathematics, particularly statistics, calculus, and linear algebra is required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, as well as interpersonal skills, are necessary for effective collaboration with diverse learners.
  • Experience using Canvas or other related learning management systems is beneficial.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience using Slack and Teams as communication tools.
  • Experience working with support/service software or ticketing systems.
  • Experience with bug tracking and feedback tools.
