We are seeking a highly skilled programming professional to support our clinical trials. The successful candidate will have experience in all required areas of programming.

Responsibilities
  1. Exceed expectations and responsibilities of a programming lead
  2. Understand and implement industry standards for data management
  3. Follow established coding conventions
  4. Serve as a technical expert on assigned projects
  5. Coordinate and ensure the accuracy and completeness of activities for assigned team members
  6. Create and maintain project timelines
  7. Support the development of tools and scripts to improve quality and efficiency of processes
  8. Prepare specifications for datasets and outputs according to project requirements; including but not limited to:
  • Data analysis datasets
  • Tables, listings and figures
  • xml/Reviewer's Guide
  • Integrated summaries
Perform ad hoc analyses of current and legacy databasesReview and provide input on project designServe as a mentor to other team membersMaintain awareness of project scope to actual work, alerting management of potential changes or resource needsWork effectively with cross-functional team members to ensure accurate and high-quality outputsStandard Operating Procedures (SOPs)Strong understanding of departmental procedures; ability to guide others on proceduresMay participate in the development and revision of SOPsBusiness DevelopmentMay support the business development process; RFI completion, proposal development, bid defense participation, attendance at industry/scientific meetings, etc.Additional Responsibilities
  1. May assist in the preparation and review of financial reporting
  2. May promote visibility outside of the functional area and effectively interact cross-functionally and in industry
  3. May participate in candidate interviews
  4. Perform other duties as requested by management
Requirements
  1. The ideal candidate should have a degree in Computer Science or a closely related field; work experience may be substituted for degree
  2. Minimum of 4 years direct programming experience in pharmaceutical development or CRO environment
  3. Good knowledge of medical terminology and conduct and analysis of clinical trials
  4. Knowledge of relevant industry data standards
  5. Excellent oral and written communication skills, organizational skills, and attention to detail are required
