Job Title: Program Manager

Position Overview:

As a Program Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful execution of complex software projects within our organization. You will lead and manage a team of approximately 50-60 software professionals and growing, ensuring high performance, adherence to deadlines, and the successful delivery of client-focused software solutions. You will play a critical role in defining program strategy, aligning project goals with organizational objectives, and driving cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

Program Leadership: Lead and manage large-scale programs, ensuring that they align with company goals and deliverables. Provide clear direction and purpose to the software teams.

Team Management: Supervise, mentor, and support a team of up to 60 software professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, performance, and continuous improvement.

Project Planning & Execution: Develop detailed project plans, ensuring resources are properly allocated and milestones are achieved on schedule. Oversee project timelines, budgets, and deliverables.

Stakeholder Communication: Maintain clear communication with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment on project goals, status, and expectations.

Risk Management: Proactively identify and mitigate potential risks, providing solutions to any challenges that arise during project execution.

Risk Mitigation: Identify risks early, communicate with stakeholders, and create proactive mitigation plans.

Process Optimization: Drive process improvements in the software development lifecycle, focusing on increasing efficiency and productivity.

Quality Assurance: Ensure the quality of deliverables meets the organization's standards and client expectations.

Budget Management: Manage program budgets, ensuring projects are delivered within budget while meeting quality and time expectations.

Customer Satisfaction & Stakeholder Management: Ensure the success of the program through effective stakeholder management and focus on customer satisfaction.

Resource Allocation & Management: Ensure efficient resource allocation, managing both internal and external resources, and ensuring project success.

Contract vs Actual Hours Tracking: Monitor contract hours versus actual hours to ensure project profitability.

Cross-Sell and Account Management: Develop strategies to cross-sell additional services, starting with smaller projects, and driving growth from offshore.

Scope & Requirement Clarity: Remove ambiguity in requirements or scope of work, ensuring that the project stays on track and expectations are clear.

Required Qualifications:

A master's degree or a bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.

18+ years of experience managing medium to large-scale software projects and programs.

Proven track record of leading and managing cross-functional teams (60+ team members).

Strong expertise in project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Scrum, etc.).

Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.

Strong technical understanding of systems to assist the team with technical support.

People management skills, with experience handling multiple projects simultaneously.

Experience in setting up processes, risk management, and solving complex problems.

Highly adaptable and proactive in finding solutions to challenges.

Strong attention to detail and ownership of deliverables.

Experience in customer satisfaction and stakeholder management.

Proficient in JIRA, Trello, Asana, Basecamp, MS Project, CRM platforms, Microsoft Suite, and scalable cloud-based project ecosystems.

Hands-on experience with Agile-driven projects, leveraging Microsoft Azure/AWS, and blending digital strategy with delivery precision.

Experience in managing cross-sector software rollouts in industries like Healthcare and Fintech, ensuring structure, momentum, and measurable impact.

Strong leadership skills with the ability to energize teams and adapt seamlessly across cultures and time zones.

Certified in Azure/AWS, Agile, and Project Management.

Experience in AI-driven development.

Preferred Qualifications:

PMP or equivalent project management certification.

Experience working in an IT consulting or software development environment.

Proven ability to manage 5 Project Managers and oversee 12-15 projects simultaneously.

High-impact project leader with expertise in navigating ambiguity, aligning global teams, and delivering innovative software solutions on time and within budget.
