Job Title: High Performance Computing Expert

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled High Performance Computing (HPC) expert to join our team and contribute to the design, deployment, and support of cutting-edge AI infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess current AI infrastructure requirements and forecast future growth needs
  • Design, deploy, and support AI infrastructure that meets business needs, including CPU, GPU, middleware, and orchestration tools
  • Configure and manage PFS (Parallel File System) and NFS systems
  • Install and configure libraries and compilers
  • Deploy and manage monitoring and observability tools for AI clusters
  • Network management and troubleshooting of InfiniBand, ROCE switches, UFM, NETQ, and other tools
Technical Requirements:
  • Nvidia GPU management and CUDA toolkit expertise
  • Knowledge of cloud infrastructure management on AWS and GCP
  • Cloud bursting technique skills
  • Kubernetes installation and configuration knowledge
Desirable Skills:
  • Operating systems: Linux (RHEL, CentOS, SuSE)
  • Languages: C, C++, bash, Python
  • Schedulers and resource management: PBS, SLURM, Grid Engine, LSF
  • Cluster management: xCAT, Bright Cluster Manager, War wolf
  • Monitoring: Grafana, Nagios, Zabbix, Gangalia
  • Compilers and libraries: GNU, Intel, OpenMPI, Cuda, MPI
  • Networking: InfiniBand/ROCE/UFM/Ethernet/DPU
  • Parallel file system knowledge: GPFS, Lustre, Weka., BeeGFS, VAST
  • Benchmarking tools expertise: IOR, Lim pack
  • Nvidia stack knowledge: Nvidia AI Enterprise, RunAi
  • Configuration and troubleshooting of PFS like Lustre, GPFS, WEKA
  • Job scheduler installation, configuration, and troubleshooting
  • Root cause analysis of cluster issues
  • Performance benchmarking of clusters
  • Basic knowledge of parallel programming – OpenMPI, MPI
  • GPU orchestration and MIG instance creation knowledge
  • Scripting and automation expertise – bash, Perl, Python
  • Advanced Linux OS debugging skills
