Job Title: High Performance Systems Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled High Performance Systems Engineer to drive the design, implementation, and maintenance of high-performance systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement high-performance monitoring systems using industry-leading tools such as Elasticsearch, Kibana, Grafana, and Dynatrace.
  • Develop scripts in Python, Shell, PowerShell, or other languages to automate tasks and improve system performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions that enhance overall system efficiency.
  • Monitor system performance and provide regular reports to stakeholders on key metrics and recommendations for optimization.
  • Work closely with operations teams to resolve issues and ensure smooth system operation.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in high-performance monitoring and engineering.
  • Strong knowledge of modern observability practices, including SRE, SLI/SLO, Synthetic, APM, RUM.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools like GitLab, Jenkins, and ServiceNow.
  • Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of IT production backup and resilience setup.
  • Understanding of key concepts of distributed systems.
  • Basic knowledge of RedHat Linux administration and performance management.
  • Notions of Ansible and Ansible Tower.
  • Notions of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, Nomad, OpenShift).
