Transformative Software Engineer

As a high-performing software engineer, you will join our team to drive innovation and deliver industry-leading technology solutions. Our purpose is to empower the organization by cultivating responsible supply chains through sustainable practices while ensuring superior product quality and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and perform engineering assignments using existing procedures and best practices.
  • Conduct research to aid in product troubleshooting and optimization efforts.
  • Work closely with global teams to ensure effective technical solutions.
  • Provide an escalation point and participate in on-call support rotations.
  • Actively monitor key metrics and report on trends.
  • Participate in our Engineering Community of Practice.
  • Contribute to engineering automation, management or development of production level systems.
  • Perform reliability monitoring and support as needed to ensure products meet guest expectations.

Qualifications:

  • Completed Bachelor's degree or diploma (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Software Architecture preferred; candidates with substantial and relevant industry experience are also eligible.
  • Six to Eight+ years of engineering experience.
  • Ability to learn, understand, and work quickly with new emerging technologies, methodologies, and solutions in the Cloud/IT technology space.
  • Strong knowledge and working experience with programming languages such as Java and Python.
  • Strong knowledge and working experience with application development frameworks like Spring Boot.
  • Strong knowledge and working experience with Cloud technologies and services such as AWS Lambda and AWS S3.
  • Strong knowledge and working experience with data integration technologies such as Kafka.
  • Strong knowledge and working experience with API-based system design.
  • Experience working with relational and no-sql databases such as Postgres and MongoDB.
  • Experience working with containers and container orchestration systems like Kubernetes.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD principals and tools like Gitlab, Splunk, and Datadog.
  • Good knowledge and working experience in Agile methodology and familiar with tools like Jira and Confluence.
  • Familiar with infrastructure provisioning tools like Terraform and workflow orchestration tools like Airflow.
