Job Opportunity: Placement Director

We are seeking a seasoned professional to fill the role of Placement Director.

The ideal candidate will oversee and manage multiple placement departments across various locations, preparing students for placements and ensuring their successful placement in programs.

  • Establish strong industry connections with private sector companies, startups, recruitment firms, and HR consultants.
  • Maintain relationships with industry associations, forums, and captains.
  • Utilize online communities, social media platforms, and job portals for networking and career development.

Responsibilities include:

  • Managing complete placement data and maintaining internship and placement records.
  • Preparing detailed reports on placement data for periodic reviews.
  • Organizing interaction programs on career opportunities and facilitating interactions between universities and external agencies.
  • Tracking application forms, pre-screening candidates, shortlisting, and scheduling interviews.
  • Providing counseling on procedures to applicants and ensuring accurate record-keeping.

Additionally, the incumbent will provide training support through organizing Skill Lab Orientation programs, enrolling students in the Career Service Tech platform, and conducting training programs at academic institutions.

Requirements:

The suitable candidate should possess a Bachelor's degree in management, human resources, business administration, or a related field. A postgraduate degree is desirable. Familiarity with relevant software and tools used in placement processes is essential.

With a minimum of 15 years of experience in corporate placements in the NCR region, the ideal candidate will have a strong network across PAN India, experience working in multi-disciplinary universities, and expertise in placement coordination, communication, presentation, and training skills.
