Senior Investment Banking Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Investment Banking professional to join our team. As a key member of our IB Operations team, you will work closely with client partners to improve processes and controls that build capacity and scale.

Your responsibilities will include monitoring and capturing overall data and its status from various global functional teams across our clients. You must possess in-depth functional knowledge of the process area and apply it to operational scenarios to provide effective solutions.

The ideal candidate should have strong business understanding of finance industry with special focus on capital market and derivatives. He/She should be good with numbers and ability to derive information from data with excellent multi-tasking and creative problem solving.

You will be responsible for independently handling clients and client calls– establishing yourself as a valued partner. Escalating issues to client and internal managers to bring issues to their attention in a short span of time to avoid client escalation is also crucial.

You will help knowledge management endeavour by sharing process knowledge and best practices within the teams. Additionally, you will build domain expertise and lead from the front with the ability to work under pressure, handle multiple priorities and work as part of the team.

  • Support us to monitor and capture the overall data and its status from various global functional teams across our clients.
  • Identify discrepancies and propose optimal solutions using logical, systematic, and sequential methodology.
  • Lead, control, and motivate groups towards company objectives.
  • Effectively audit processes, implement best practices and process improvements, and utilize frameworks and tools available.

The ideal candidate should possess 6-10 years of experience in handling a team of minimum 25 members and has good experience and knowledge of Investment Banking Operations.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Graduation (Bcom, BBA, BBM, BCA) / Post Graduation (Mcom, MBA, PGDM)
  • Strong business understanding of finance industry with special focus on capital market and derivatives.
  • Good with numbers and ability to derive information from data with excellent multi-tasking and creative problem solving.
