Job Description:
This is not a typical internship. As a Finance & Growth Co-pilot, you'll act as a key partner to the founder managing core finance operations, ensuring financial discipline, and contributing to strategic decision-making.
You'll take ownership of everything from bookkeeping to FP&A while shadowing the founder on growth, business strategy, and investor-related matters.
This role requires someone who thrives in ambiguity, loves numbers, and wants to help build a startup from scratch.
Key Responsibilities:
- End-to-end bookkeeping, bills receivable/payable tracking, and invoice management
- GST filings, tax return filings, and other statutory compliances
- Cash flow management and cost optimization tracking
- Financial planning, forecasting, and scenario modeling
- Expense reporting, reconciliations, and building scalable financial systems
Growth & Strategy:
- Shadow the founder in high-level meetings, fundraising conversations, and strategy discussions
- Support in market analysis, pricing strategy, and business growth initiatives
- Create board-level decks, reports, and dashboards to support decision-making
Analytics & Reporting:
- Build and maintain advanced financial models and dashboards
- Analyze KPIs, cost structures, and growth levers using Google Sheets/Excel and Power BI (or similar tools)
What We're Looking For:
- CA Inter/CS/MBA Finance or equivalent qualifications
- Strong financial acumen with hands-on expertise in bookkeeping, compliance, and FP&A
- Advanced skills in Google Sheets/Excel (financial modeling, pivot tables, macros, etc.)
- Exposure to Power BI, Tableau, or other analytics tools is a strong advantage
- Detail-oriented, highly organized, and comfortable with early-stage startup chaos
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a hunger to learn and grow rapidly
