Lead Aerospace Design Expert

We seek a seasoned professional to lead our aerospace design team. The successful candidate will have in-depth knowledge of aerospace structures, systems, and regulatory requirements.

About the Role

This is an opportunity for a highly experienced and skilled individual to take on a leadership position and contribute to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design organization and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Develop and maintain technical expertise in aerospace structures, systems, and regulatory requirements
  • Ensure signatory delegation process as per A1020/M1020 requirements
  • Review WPL recommendations/requests on DOA scope
  • Ensure deliverables of signatories meet design requirements
  • Perform independent technical reviews and ensure applicable compliances
  • Identify and provide required trainings and monitor effectiveness during mentoring phase
  • Review monthly data of nominees/signatories for audit/compliances requirements
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical/aeronautical engineering or equivalent
  • Minimum 20+ years of experience in aerospace industry
  • Extensive knowledge of Airbus/Aero OEM programs
  • Knowledge of metallic and composites design
  • Sound knowledge of fuselage, wing, empennage, control surfaces, etc.
  • Knowledge of Airbus methods and applicable procedures
  • Knowledge of aerospace stress activities
  • Knowledge of various ATA chapters
