Main Responsibilities:

  • Establish operational diagnosis utilizing maturity assessment tools with suppliers on site.
  • Propose and define supplier development and maturity action plans aligned with main stakeholders.
  • Drive systematic changes in supplier maturity and performance with continuous improvement techniques, structured interventions, risk mitigation, and adapted coaching.
  • Implement training programs on behalf of the supplier and provide specific trainings based on diagnosis input and operational needs.
  • Act as a conduit to improve the overall interface between our organization and the supplier by putting in place practices such as: suppliers Milk Run, Continuous pull flow, and progressively advanced Lean and Agile Practices.
  • Drive pre-assessment diagnoses for new potential suppliers along with participation in risk mitigation plans with key stakeholders, propose specific action plans, and lead the implementation as required.
  • Facilitate and encourage Suppliers to deploy Factory 4.0 concepts.
  • Cocoach the supplier on the implementation of best supply chain and quality processes (training, project management, lean management, visual management, etc.).
  • Act as a reference expert at the Group level for the various supplier development tools and processes and coach the Supplier Performance network in the implementation of these tools and processes.
  • Hold regular progress meetings and on-site visits with the supplier to drive maturity improvement and development plans.
