Are you an experienced professional looking for a new challenge? We are seeking a strategic Supplier Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the development and execution of supplier relationships.

The successful candidate will design and execute strategic initiatives, handle procurement commodities, and monitor supplier performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement supplier relationship management initiatives aligned with our objectives
  • Procure various commodities including SaaS, On-prem Software Products Licenses, Cloud Procurement, Engineering Outsourcing Managed Services, Data Telecom services, IT services, and IT Hardware and Networking equipment
  • Stratify suppliers based on strategic importance and create customized engagement programs
  • Conduct Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR) with suppliers and collaborate with internal teams to develop plans for action
  • Identify potential risks and mitigate them proactively
  • Lead and organize the annual supplier event, including content and messaging for the supply base
  • Monitor supplier performance and raise alerts on any technology, supply chain, or quality gaps, then work with suppliers and internal teams to develop improvement plans
  • Work closely with the supply base and cross-functional teams to successfully execute supplier engagement plans
  • Communicate key information to suppliers regarding company happenings and events
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Good understanding of supplier landscape, value chain mapping, and zero-based costing
  • Experience developing and executing strategies with suppliers
  • Ability to manage the three pillars of program management: time, cost, and quality
  • Knowledge of spend analysis, negotiations, and commercials/INCO terms
  • Strong collaboration skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
  • Excellent planning, process management, and decision-making skills
  • Superior communication and interpersonal skills

You bring to the table a Bachelor's/Master's degree in engineering from a Tier 1 or Tier 2 institute, or an MBA in Supply Chain Management, along with 7-10 years of relevant experience in indirect commodities procurement.
