Disaster Recovery Specialist

 

Job Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned Disaster Recovery Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations department, you will be responsible for developing and implementing disaster recovery plans, ensuring business continuity in the face of unexpected disruptions.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive disaster recovery plans, including risk assessments, impact analysis, and contingency planning.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate potential risks, ensuring seamless business operations.
  • Design and develop complex integrations using Flow Designer, Spokes, and Actions to support disaster recovery initiatives.
  • Work closely with Service Now Agile teams to ensure smooth execution of disaster recovery plans.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation to support disaster recovery efforts.

 

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in disaster recovery management.
  • Strong knowledge of disaster recovery best practices, including risk assessment and mitigation strategies.
  • Experience working with broader IRM applications and dependencies.
  • Proficient in scripting languages and comfortable with complex coding practices.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

 

Preferred Skills:

  • Service Now Agile (Stories, Scrum Tasks)
  • Flow Designer, Spokes, Actions
  • IRM applications and dependencies
