The Role of Academic Support

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated individual to support students in their academic journey. As an Academic Mentor, you will play a pivotal role in guiding and mentoring students through their educational experience.

  • Build positive relationships with students, offering guidance and support to help them excel academically and personally.
  • Lead student activities, clubs, and programs that encourage academic and personal growth.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and counselors to address student concerns, resolve conflicts, and provide necessary interventions.

Key Responsibilities:

Mentorship and Guidance
  • Monitor student academic progress, identify challenges, and provide necessary interventions to improve learning outcomes.
  • Conduct continuous assessments and evaluations to track student understanding of the curriculum.
  • Work closely with teachers and counselors to develop customized academic plans for students requiring additional support.
Communication and Collaboration
  • Maintain regular communication with parents/guardians to keep them updated on their child's academic and personal development.
  • Organize and participate in parent meetings and conferences to discuss student progress, challenges, and goals.
  • Address parental concerns, provide guidance, and suggest ways they can support their child's education at home.
