Financial Modeling Expert

We are seeking a skilled Financial Modeling Expert to join our global business and international team.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to support the business in financial modeling and Excel model creation for all operating and development properties using Microsoft Excel.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the business in financial modeling and Excel model creation by developing and maintaining explanatory predictive financial models in Excel.
  • Collaborate with analysts and stakeholders from various global offices to ensure seamless processes within the capital market team.
  • Work closely with leadership and business line heads to identify opportunities for process improvements and new business initiatives.
  • Deliver exceptional service by attending meetings with global team members and providing timely updates.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 5-10 years of work experience in the commercial real estate industry, preferably with expertise in financial modeling and Excel.
  • Advanced proficiency in creating, analyzing, and maintaining complex financial models in Excel, including VBA macros and Power Query.
  • Technical skills in the commercial real estate and Excel modeling domain, with excellent problem-solving skills and self-motivation.
  • People management experience and involvement in performance reviews, with a focus on driving business results.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Superior analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to drive insights and recommendations that impact business decisions.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
