Front Desk Executive Role

Job Summary:

This role is for an experienced candidate who has worked as a front desk executive or similar role in 4/5 star hotels. The ideal candidate will be involved in various functions at the core level to provide exceptional customer service and administrative support at the front desk.

Responsibilities:

  • Day-to-day Operations Management: Manage day-to-day operations of the front desk, including check-ins/check-outs, billing, answering phone calls, emails, and responding to inquiries.
  • Error-Free Front Desk Functions: Ensure front desk functions are performed without errors, identify any lapses, and rectify them in real-time.
  • Front Office Administration: Administer front office functions on a daily basis, including implementing, reviewing, and improving policies, systems, and processes.
  • Duty Rotation: Fill in duties as needed in case of absence or peak workload.
  • Guest Services: Monitor and oversee all guest services on a daily basis, ensuring billing and recovery, tracking invoices and payments, and working with the accounts team.
  • Critical Guest Identification: Identify critical guests, VIP arrivals, meeting and greeting, and attending to guests as necessary.
  • Day-to-Day Inquiries: Answer day-to-day inquiries for short-term and long-term stays.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to write professional emails, draft documents, presentations, and more.

They will have a hospitality attitude and aptitude, be customer-centric, effective in communication, thoroughly organized, and possess supervisory skills.

A natural team player with patience, negotiation skills, and dispute/grievance resolution skills, they will calmly handle situations and work well with stakeholders.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have a graduate or post-graduate degree in hotel management and at least 3-4 years of experience in a similar role in 4/5 star hotels.
