We are seeking a visionary and experienced professional to spearhead our fundraising efforts. As Chief Development Officer, you will be responsible for designing and executing a comprehensive strategy to secure funding and support our mission.

About the Role:

  • Develop a strategic roadmap for fundraising with clear objectives and targets.
  • BUILD a national network of diverse supporters and strengthen existing relationships.
  • Implement a diversified portfolio approach to fundraising, ensuring effort and target distribution across different sources.
  • Engage high net worth individuals, corporations, foundations, and other pertinent entities to achieve our fundraising goals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for enrichment and augmentation of fundraising opportunities and impact.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in business, social sciences, or a related field with a minimum of 10 years of experience in direct fundraising and partnership roles, including 3 years in a leadership position.
  • A driven and empathetic leader who can work across boundaries and achieve results.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision and comfort with the ambiguity of the fundraising universe.
  • Highly organized with strong project management skills, interpersonal skills, and executive presence.
  • Cultural awareness and ability to work well in an international environment with people from diverse backgrounds, cultures, and time zones.
  • Adaptable with a penchant for innovation and a keen eye for emergent trends and regulatory environments.
